Tamworth 2020 As many of you might know the biggest music festival in Australia (and apparently the 8th biggest in the world) is held every year in January. Leading up to the festival the Tamworth Songwriters Association (TSA) holds a song competition. I entered my song 'Australia, God's Blessing' and was very excited to learn via e-mail that I made it as a semi-finalist this year. Even though I did not quite make it to the final five in my category it was quite exciting to see my name in their newsletter. I am busy recording my next CD at the moment and there are already a couple of songs I have earmarked for entry at the end of this year, God willing. |
The Country and Western Show is now a thing of the past. Great turnout on the night and we all had loads of fun. Thanks to Jim Walker who joined me and served up some wonderful songs. Thanks also to everyone who helped with the snacks and to cap it off we were able to donate a tidy sum to Junction Australia. Have a look at the gallery for some photos. |
